We’re currently researching material for a new CD with Maddy to be recorded in the autumn, and we plan to tour together in December.

Andy and Jub recently ran a hugely enjoyable workshop at Ashton Methodist Church and Community Centre near Preston. For the occasion Andy prepared three new pieces which are now available from our on-line shop. ’How Firm a Foundation’ with its American tune is in shape-note or ’Sacred Harp’ style and is wonderful to sing. It’s not difficult - perfect for those who are just learning to sing in harmony or who prefer to sing and play by ear. It’s on the album ’Sing Lustily and with Good Courage’. The other two hymns come from our more recent CD ’Paradise Found’. ’Jesu if Still the Same thou Art’ has a beautiful flowing tune from the early eighteenth century which sounds well accompanied by strings. By contrast ’Let Heaven and Earth Agree’ is a rousing march-like tune which suits wind instruments well and perhaps some discreet percussion. While challenging for a congregation it would make a perfect anthem for a church group or a West Gallery Quire.  Visit the sheet music sales page.
